Ah, Rarity! SHE'S FINALLY DONE *passes out*

She's been sitting in my sketchbook since December. After i inked it, it took me forever to get around to the Copics...to which after i was done copic-ing it changed around all the colors when i brought it into photoshop (originally it was going to be jewel tones...ended up all wrong XD). Got it to the present color palette to which i'm very happy with. While i was working on it though, i lost about half a day's worth of work on it *sob sob* It was very late at night, and i thought i had been saving to my desktop file....turns out it had been saving to the jump drive...which i then copied the old file over the new file when i dragged the desktop file onto it *cries* So i redid all the work i had done on it and then finished it off with ALL DEM LOVELY SPARKLES, YUS. So Rarity was kind of the most complicated pony ever to illustrate. It makes sense though XD SHE WANTED EVERYTHING JUST RIGHT, YES? Pffft. *more like my perfectionist nature* Also, some people say i'm the most like this pony XD

I had considered roses for Rarity, but i felt that roses are a little more common (i love roses though and draw them ALOT) and thought maybe Rarity would have a more delicate and finicky flower, and i think orchids fit her oh so perfectly. It's been fun matching up flowers to their personalities and colors And of course their HAD to be sparklies. It was A MUST. XD

Yes, i plan on doing more ponies. Yes, I have a particular pony in mind for my next one, but don't ask, because when i tell, i end up changing my mind and do a different pony XD But I'll probably be working on some non fan art for a bit because the ponies are usually a stress release, but this one just dragged on for awhile. Blah. XD
